Our Orlando office is expanding and seeking a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer (P.E.) to lead complex land development projects and mentor a growing team of professionals.

Position Overview

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in managing and designing land development projects for residential, commercial, and mixed-use sites. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, oversee project delivery, and engage with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, design, and permitting of land development projects from concept through construction.
  • Oversee preparation of site plans, grading, drainage, utility layouts, and roadway designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, due diligence assessments, and zoning evaluations.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants including surveyors, architects, and environmental specialists.
  • Interface with local, state, and federal agencies to secure permits and approvals.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
  • Support business development efforts through proposal writing and client engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Active Florida P.E. License.
  • 8+ years of experience in land development engineering, preferably with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater modeling tools.
  • Deep understanding of Florida land development regulations and permitting processes.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
