Compensation: $70,000- $95,000 (based on role and experience)
A leading civil engineering firm with over six decades of experience is expanding its Denver team and seeking talented professionals. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse land development projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that values innovation, mentorship, and technical excellence.
Design Engineer Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing site improvement plans including grading, stormwater management, and utility layouts.
- Design water, sanitary sewer, and storm drain systems.
- Support fire flow testing and documentation.
- Collaborate with architects, landscape architects, and MEP engineers.
- Provide engineering support during construction phases.
- Conduct technical assessments and prepare engineering reports.
- Coordinate with private developers, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 1+ years of relevant experience.
- EIT certification preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and stormwater drainage software.
- Understanding of grading plans and utility system design.
