Overview
My client, a nationally respected engineering and consulting firm, is expanding its Midwest presence and is seeking a Site/Civil Practice Leader to launch and grow their Cincinnati or Columbus office. This is a key leadership role with strong executive support and the opportunity to build a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Lead business development and strengthen client relationships
- Oversee site/civil engineering for land development projects
- Manage design efforts including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater
- Guide permitting for residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed‑use projects
- Support proposals, mentor staff, and collaborate with regional leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of local land development/site‑civil experience
- Active PE license
- Strong client development background
- Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D preferred
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
