Building Encloser consultant
Responsibilities:
- Conducts site inspections to assess installation, repair, and performance of envelope components such as roofing, waterproofing, façades, coatings, sealants, and glazing.
- Performs condition surveys and diagnostic testing in accordance with industry standards.
- Reviews architectural and structural drawings and contributes to the development of technical specifications.
- Collaborates with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design compliance and performance integrity.
- Prepares detailed technical reports and communicates findings to project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in construction and building envelope systems.
- Background in forensic consulting or building diagnostics is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams; familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Comfortable working in varied site conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
- Possesses a valid driver's license and can pass background and drug screening.
