CEI Section Head
My Clients esteemed organization is seeking a CEI Department Head, based in the city of Virginia Beach. This pivotal role offers an opportunity for seasoned professionals to drive business development, achieve financial success, and provide inspirational leadership at a local level.

It offers a comprehensive range of multi-disciplinary services, including engineering, architecture, information technology, and related solutions. Serving both public agencies and private sector clients across the United States, the firm is recognized for its commitment to quality and innovation. It is currently ranked among the top 50 firms on a prominent national list of the Top 500 Design Firms.
In this position you will:
-Coordinate strategic growth plan with office managers and practice leaders
-Establish and grow market presence in area through marketing and business development
-Manage financial budget for department and allocate resources accordingly
-Lead and contribute to the production of proposals
-Serve as a technical expertise resource to project managers and technical staff
-Establish resources staffing needs for the section
-Interview and hire staff for the section
-Perform performance reviews for staff based on input from project managers on assigned teams
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited program
-10+ years' experience in specialized discipline
-Project management and business development experience
-Experience working with local VDOT and municipal clients
-Project Controls experience
-Professional Engineer License or equivalent, preferred
-Supervisory experience
