A well-established infrastructure consulting firm is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Transportation Project Manager to lead and oversee complex transportation projects across Illinois. This full-time leadership role offers the opportunity to manage high-impact roadway and highway initiatives that enhance community connectivity and quality of life. The ideal candidate will bring strategic insight, technical expertise, and a passion for creating sustainable environments where people live, work, and thrive.

- Serves as the prime on Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) projects

Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to pursue strategic transportation projects.
- Supervise project managers working on regional and municipal transportation initiatives.
- Ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations and organizational goals.
- Maintain strong client connections to support satisfaction and retention.
- Track department workload and prioritize tasks to meet operational targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in the state of Illinois
- 15+ years of experience in transportation design and team leadership
- Proficiency in Microstation and AutoCAD 2D/3D
Minimum Requirements:
- PE license in Illinois
- Management experience overseeing a team and/or training junior engineers
- Project experience with IDOT or the Illinois Tollway Association
- Proficient in transportation design principles and execution
