This multidisciplinary civil engineering firm is dedicated to enhancing communities through thoughtful design and sustainable infrastructure. With offices across the Midwest and Mountain West, they bring decades of experience in land development, municipal engineering, water resources, and construction services. Their Fort Collins office is growing, and looking for a talented Senior Project Engineer to help lead impactful projects in Northern Colorado.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and production of civil engineering plans for residential, commercial, and public infrastructure projects.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and client communication.
- Perform engineering calculations and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies.
- Review plans, specifications, and reports for quality assurance.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and designers.
- Participate in business development and proposal preparation as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- 6+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development or municipal projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.
- Strong understanding of grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
