A leading electrical contractor specializing in large-scale power and infrastructure construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support expanding operations across Eastern Pennsylvania. Known for delivering complex transmission, substation, distribution, and renewable energy projects, this organization maintains a strong reputation for safety, technical excellence, and high-quality project execution.

Role Overview

The Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of major electrical infrastructure projects, including high‑voltage transmission line work, substation builds and upgrades, distribution projects, and associated civil and electrical scopes.

You will ensure each project phase is completed on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with rigorous safety and quality standards. This role is ideal for a highly organized leader who thrives in a fast-paced, field‑focused environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of transmission, substation, and distribution construction projects.
  • Oversee full project lifecycle, including scope, budget, schedule, and closeout.
  • Coordinate communication between field operations, engineering, procurement, logistics, and leadership teams.
  • Manage expediting activities to ensure materials and equipment arrive on time.
  • Perform site visits, track progress, and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and inspection protocols.
  • Support logistics coordination, including equipment mobilization and material handling.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing or supporting transmission, substation, or electrical construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of expediting processes and material coordination.
  • Proven project management experience across multiple project phases.
  • Knowledge of inspection processes, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
  • Familiarity with logistics management in a construction environment.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency with project management software is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
