About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join a dynamic engineering consultancy team delivering major rail infrastructure projects across Singapore. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile transportation projects that shape the future of urban mobility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the civil engineering design and delivery of rail infrastructure projects, including MRT, LRT, and associated facilities.
- Oversee project planning, feasibility studies, detailed design, and construction support.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, geotechnical, and systems engineers.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and government agencies to ensure smooth project execution.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence within the team.
- Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and tender documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; a Master's degree or Chartered Engineer status is advantageous.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on rail or transportation infrastructure.
- Proven track record in delivering large-scale rail projects in Singapore or similar urban environments.
- Strong knowledge of LTA standards and local regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in civil engineering design software (e.g., Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRail).
