What the Role Involves
- Leading complex geotechnical projects from pursuit through execution and delivery
- Managing, mentoring, and developing engineering staff across multiple experience levels
- Providing senior‑level technical oversight, review, and guidance
- Working closely with other principals and senior leaders on strategy, staffing, and workload planning
- Supporting business development efforts and strengthening key client relationships
- Maintaining technical involvement while balancing leadership and management responsibilities
What the Team Is Looking For
- 12+ years of geotechnical engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (advanced degree preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership or principal‑adjacent role
- Strong local experience in the Pacific Northwest, with knowledge of regional subsurface conditions
- A leader who values mentorship, collaboration, and long‑term team development
