Senior Project Engineer
A well-established, employee-owned engineering consulting firm with offices in Missouri and Illinois are looking to bring on a Senior Structural Engineer to the team. This company provides Structural Engineering Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection services across a diverse range of industries. With a strong reputation for collaborative design, technical excellence, and client-focused solutions, the firm supports projects in healthcare, commercial, institutional, and government sectors.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems using steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.
- Prepare technical reports, design estimates, and project proposals.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders including architects and contractors.
- Conduct site visits and field observations to support project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Contribute to project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 3-10 years of relevant experience in building design and structural analysis.
- FE certification required; PE license preferred or in progress.
- Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., RAM, Enercalc).
- Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD is advantageous.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
