Role Overview
A leading Mechanical contractor in a high-growth phase is seeking experienced Project Managers to support a surge in large-scale construction projects across the DMV region. With a strong focus on data centers and healthcare facilities, this role offers the opportunity to manage complex mechanical scopes on high-value builds and contribute to transformative infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution: Lead mechanical scopes on major new construction projects, typically valued at $30M+, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, including planning, execution, and client handover.
- Team Coordination: Manage cross-functional teams including engineers, subcontractors, and field staff.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Interface with clients, consultants, and internal leadership to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Risk & Compliance: Identify and mitigate risks, ensure safety compliance, and maintain documentation standards.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost controls to ensure profitability.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Industry Experience: Background in mechanical contracting, ideally with exposure to data centers, healthcare, federal/government buildings, or special projects.
- Project Scale: Experience managing $30M+ mechanical scopes or $10M+ special projects.
- Full Lifecycle Exposure: Demonstrated ability to see projects through from start to finish.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction methodologies, and project controls.
- Qualifications: Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. PMP or similar certification is a plus.
