Sr SCADA Developer (Ignition)- Remote (Full-Time)
We're looking for a seasoned SCADA developer with deep experience in industrial automation, particularly within oil and gas operations. This role involves working directly with clients to enhance and maintain SCADA systems, integrate field devices, and develop custom applications and databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support SCADA environments
- Integrate field hardware (e.g., flow computers, RTUs)
- Design and manage relational databases
- Develop scripts and software to extend SCADA functionality
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Build intuitive user interfaces and conduct system testing
Ideal Background:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years in SCADA development, preferably in oil & gas
- Strong scripting and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with field devices and polling engines (e.g., Kepware, ACM)
- Proficient in SQL and Windows environments
- Solid understanding of networking and communication protocols
- Willingness to travel when needed
