Structural Engineer - Austin, TX
An established engineering consultancy is seeking a Structural Engineer to join its Austin, Texas office. This is a full-time position offering the chance to work on diverse projects under the guidance of an experienced team.
Location & Schedule:
- Based in Austin, TX (in-office minimum of 30 hours per week required).
- Hybrid remote option available after approximately one year.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required (E.I.T. candidates will not be considered).
- 3-5 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and/or Tekla design software.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for commercial buildings using concrete, steel, masonry, and wood.
- Prepare construction documents and conduct site visits for quality control and contractor oversight.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary engineering team and communicate effectively with clients.
