Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing client accounts to ensure consistent year-over-year revenue growth
- Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities within the assigned territory
- Achieve or exceed rental, sales, and service revenue targets
- Follow up on leads generated through inbound calls, marketing campaigns, website inquiries, and other promotional efforts
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events within the territory
- Effectively manage time, territory, and expenses to maximize productivity
- Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts, including key decision-makers at engineering and consulting firms
- Deliver compelling presentations to groups of 10 or more, showcasing company capabilities and solutions
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities using the company's CRM and reporting systems
- Manage a dynamic sales pipeline in alignment with company policies and sales strategies
- Execute all objectives outlined in the territory's sales plan with precision and accountability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree with relevant experience will be considered
- 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting, engineering, or related sales roles
- Background in environmental lab sales or experience as a Geologist, Hydrogeologist, Environmental Engineer, or Project Manager is highly desirable
- Proven success in outside sales with the ability to clearly communicate value propositions
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM platforms
- Comfortable making high volumes of outbound prospecting calls
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and personal vehicle available for work use (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Ability to manage reimbursable work-related expenses
- Willingness to travel overnight up to 40% of the time, depending on seasonal business needs
