AV Systems Engineer

The Role

The AV Systems Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the design, engineering, and delivery of sophisticated audiovisual solutions. You'll collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to develop high-quality system designs and ensure project success from concept through execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review RFPs, design-build drawings, and technical specifications
  • Develop detailed CAD drawing packages aligned with project timelines
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to validate system design and performance
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and field teams to ensure accuracy and execution
  • Prepare and review equipment lists for procurement
  • Provide ongoing support for design updates, troubleshooting, and project adjustments
  • Stay current on AV technologies and industry best practices

What We're Looking For

  • ~5+ years of experience in the AV, electronics, or systems integration field
  • Strong understanding of audiovisual systems and design principles
  • Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented mindset
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • CTS or CTS-D certification
  • Experience with space planning and collaboration technologies
