An established, growing engineering consulting firm is seeking a Bridge Department Manager to lead its bridge engineering practice. This is a unique opportunity to oversee major transportation and bridge projects, mentor and grow a talented team, and play a key role in the future direction of the department.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Bridge Department
- Oversee bridge design, rehabilitation, replacement, and inspection projects
- Manage project delivery, budgets, schedules, and staffing
- Develop and mentor engineering staff
- Build and maintain client relationships with DOTs, authorities, counties, and municipalities
- Support business development, proposals, and strategic growth initiatives
Qualifications:
- PE license required
- 10+ years of bridge and transportation engineering experience
- Proven experience managing complex bridge projects
- Strong leadership, client management, and team-building skills
- Experience working with public-sector transportation clients preferred
