Controls Engineer - Delta Controls (Remote | Data Center Projects)
Overview
We are working with a leading controls contractor delivering high-performance building automation systems across mission-critical data center projects. They are looking to bring on an experienced Controls Engineer with deep expertise in Delta Controls programming to support a growing pipeline of remote commissioning and integration work.
This is a fully remote role with exposure to large-scale, technically complex data center environments across North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Program and engineer Delta Controls (enteliWEB / enteliBUS) systems for data center applications
- Develop control sequences for HVAC systems supporting mission-critical environments (CRAC units, chillers, AHUs, CRAH units, etc.)
- Perform remote commissioning, troubleshooting, and system integration
- Review and interpret control drawings, submittals, and sequences of operation
- Support functional testing and ensure systems meet performance and uptime requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, field technicians, and clients to deliver projects on time
- Optimize system performance, alarms, and energy efficiency within critical environments
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers when needed
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Building Automation / Controls Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience programming Delta Controls systems (non-negotiable)
- Experience supporting or working on data center / mission-critical projects is highly preferred
- Deep understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies
- Familiarity with BACnet protocols and system integration
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $125,000
- Bonus: Performance-based bonus (typically 10-15%)
