We're partnering with a growing robotics and automation company seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working on custom automation projects and wants exposure to robotics, controls, vision systems, and full project lifecycle ownership.
Responsibilities
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems
- Support the integration of robotic automation equipment and vision systems
- Develop and optimize controls solutions for custom machinery and automated production systems
- Participate in startup, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting activities
- Work closely with project managers, mechanical engineers, and customers throughout project execution
- Support projects from concept and design through installation and customer acceptance
Qualifications
- 4+ years of Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related experience
- Experience with Rockwell and/or Siemens PLC programming
- Background in machine building, robotics, industrial automation, or systems integration
- Strong troubleshooting and commissioning experience
- Exposure to robotics, vision systems, and industrial networking is highly preferred
- Ability to travel up to 35% for customer support and project commissioning
- U.S. Citizenship required
