Distech Controls Specialist
An established building automation integrator is looking to appoint a Distech Controls Specialist with a strong background in engineering and programming. This role is suited to someone who combines technical depth with a collaborative mindset, and who enjoys supporting the development of others within a project environment.

- Engineer and programme Distech control systems in line with project specifications
- Develop, test, and optimise control strategies for HVAC and building systems
- Support the delivery of projects from design through to commissioning and handover
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues across live systems and project environments
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure successful outcomes
- Produce and maintain clear technical documentation
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and less experienced team members
- Take an active role in training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within the team
- Contribute to best practice development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Proven experience working with Distech controls, including programming and engineering
- Minimum of 5 years experience within building automation or HVAC controls
- Strong understanding of BMS/BAS principles and control strategies
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience working across project lifecycles, including commissioning support
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively within technical teams
- A genuine interest in supporting and developing others through mentoring and training
- Exposure to integration protocols such as BACnet or Modbus
- Experience working with other BMS platforms within a multi-system environment
- Commissioning experience or involvement in optimisation and fine-tuning of systems
