Drainage Engineer

They are currently seeking a Drainage Engineer to lead critical stormwater initiatives and support continued growth in Florida.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead stormwater and drainage analysis and design for public infrastructure and land development projects
- Design stormwater facilities such as culverts, detention/retention basins, and green infrastructure
- Assist with proposals, scope development, and client presentations
- Provide QA/QC oversight and mentor junior engineering staff
- Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies (e.g., FDEP, SWFWMD, SJRWMD)
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 4+ years of relevant experience in stormwater or site/civil design
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Experience with drainage-related permitting and compliance in Florida
- Proficiency in MicroStation, HEC-RAS, ICPR, StormCAD, HY-8, and other H&H tools
- Familiarity with FDOT and local agency standards is a plus
