Electrical Project Manager

Base Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 + Bonus + Full Benefits

An established electrical construction contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of commercial, industrial, and large-scale electrical construction projects. This is an opportunity to manage projects from preconstruction through completion while working closely with clients, field teams, suppliers, and executive leadership.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company, client, and project-specific policies and procedures
• Develop estimates, review project proposals, and establish project schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation strategies
• Lead project execution to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
• Coordinate and manage field personnel, subcontractors, and project stakeholders throughout all phases of construction
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure expectations are met before, during, and after project completion
• Manage project billing, collections, forecasting, and financial performance
• Conduct regular project site visits to evaluate progress, identify challenges, and support field teams
• Coordinate procurement efforts and work directly with vendors to ensure timely material deliveries
• Develop long-term relationships with clients and team members through consistent performance and innovative solutions
• Provide regular project updates, reporting, and financial forecasting to senior leadership
• Mentor and support the development of project engineers and junior project personnel
• Promote jobsite safety and ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards and company policies
• Support company initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Required

• College degree, Journeyman Electrician License, or Master Electrician License
• Strong understanding of electrical construction and installation practices
• Experience managing electrical construction projects from planning through completion
• Strong Microsoft 365 proficiency and overall computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment

Preferred

• Experience supporting industrial construction or electrical contracting projects
• Prior Assistant Project Manager or Project Management experience within an electrical contractor environment
• Experience utilizing estimating software and construction management platforms
• Familiarity with ERP and project accounting systems
• Knowledge of project billing, invoicing, and collections processes
