They are currently seeking a Travelling Lead MEP Superintendent to oversee and lead field operations on data center projects valued over $900 million. This is a high-impact leadership role for a seasoned professional who thrives in fast-paced, technically demanding environments.


The Role

As the Lead MEP Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing field operations on-site. You will lead large teams, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure that all MEP systems are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage MEP field operations on large-scale data center projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Oversee scheduling, logistics, and resource planning for MEP scopes.
  • Serve as the primary on-site MEP authority and point of contact.
  • Travel to project sites across multiple states as required.

Requirements

✅ 10+ years of MEP construction experience, including leading crews on projects valued at $500M+.
✅ 5+ years of experience specifically in data center construction.
✅ Proven leadership in managing large field teams and subcontractors.
✅ Strong understanding of mission-critical systems and commissioning processes.
✅ Must be open to extensive travel - initial projects in Virginia, Ohio, or Texas, with future assignments across the U.S.
