A mid-sized, privately held commercial construction firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple projects within a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. What You'll Do
- Lead and manage 2+ small to mid-sized commercial construction projects simultaneously
- Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and closeout
- Solicit, review, and analyze subcontractor bids; participate in award recommendations with senior leadership
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Facilitate project meetings and provide clear, consistent communication to stakeholders
- Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and correspondence using project management software
- Monitor project budgets, track costs, and prepare financial reporting including pay applications and forecasts
- Maintain accurate records for contracts, change orders, and project financials
- Coordinate shop drawings and ensure alignment with contract documents
- Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client interaction
- Assist with estimating efforts as needed to support project pursuits
What You Bring
- Proven experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
- Strong understanding of project financials, cost control, and scheduling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-facing mindset
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain strong working relationships
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Sound judgment in conflict resolution and prioritization of competing demands
- Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to project challenges
- Valid driver's licens
