This is a key leadership role focused on delivering drainage, stormwater, and flood mitigation projects across the region. Key Responsibilities
- Manage water resources projects from planning through design and construction support
- Lead drainage, stormwater, and floodplain studies including H&H modeling and analysis
- Oversee preparation of reports, design plans, and technical documentation
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, agencies, and internal teams
- Support business development efforts including proposals and client meetings
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth in the Houston office
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on larger infrastructure projects
What They Are Looking For
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas
- 8 plus years of experience in water resources engineering with a focus on drainage and stormwater
- Strong background in hydrology and hydraulics modeling using tools such as HEC RAS, HEC HMS, or similar platforms
- Experience managing projects and directly engaging with clients
- Familiarity with local agencies and regulations across the Houston area
- Confident communicator who can lead teams and build long term client relationships
