About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a growing mechanical contractor in the Raleigh, NC area. This individual will be responsible for overseeing HVAC and plumbing construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical construction projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Lead project planning, kick-off meetings, and coordination efforts.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
- Review contract documents, drawings, specifications, and scope requirements.
- Monitor project costs, labor productivity, procurement, and cash flow.
- Negotiate and manage change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
- Coordinate closely with field leadership to ensure project success.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, engineers, architects, and general contractors.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Provide regular updates to leadership regarding project performance.
- Support successful project closeout, turnover, and warranty activities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within mechanical construction.
- Experience managing HVAC, plumbing, piping, or design-build projects.
- Strong understanding of commercial mechanical systems and construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Proven experience managing project budgets and schedules.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Mechanical contractor experience strongly preferred.
