The client is a leading provider of turnkey Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) solutions for mission-critical colocation and hyperscale data centers across the United States.
As a Master Systems Integrator, the client delivers complex controls and integration projects across DDC, PLC, SCADA, BAS, EPMS, software engineering, graphics/UI standards, and program-level governance. Their teams operate in high-stakes environments where uptime, quality control, coordination, and compressed schedules are critical.
They are now seeking a Delivery Manager - Design to lead the delivery of BAS and EPMS design projects across large-scale mission-critical facilities.
Role Overview
The Delivery Manager - Design will provide leadership and oversight across multiple BAS and EPMS design programs, typically ranging from 20MW to 200MW+. This role will manage a team of Project Managers and ensure consistent delivery across design scopes from concept through construction.
The successful candidate will work closely with BAS engineers, consultant partners, internal leadership, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
This is a senior leadership role suited to someone with strong experience in MEP design delivery, mission-critical environments, project governance, financial management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers delivering multiple concurrent BAS and EPMS design projects.
Oversee portfolio-level delivery across mission-critical data center design programs.
Drive project governance, process compliance, delivery standards, and quality control.
Monitor project performance, schedules, risks, and financials across the portfolio.
Manage budgets, cash-flow forecasts, change orders, proposals, contingency planning, and profitability targets.
Serve as a key escalation point for clients and internal teams.
Chair portfolio review meetings with internal leadership and external stakeholders.
Maintain strong client relationships and support repeat business opportunities.
Standardize delivery frameworks to ensure alignment with client expectations and project milestones.
Support process improvement through project management tools, reporting, and AI-driven analytics.
Lead team development, performance management, resource planning, and internal hiring support.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of MEP design and mission-critical project requirements.
Experience delivering or managing BAS, EPMS, controls, or related MEP design projects.
Background in data centers, colocation, hyperscale, or other mission-critical environments.
Experience managing multiple Project Managers or large delivery teams.
Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, budgeting, forecasting, and change order review.
Ability to interpret AE drawings, submittals, standards documentation, and product data sheets.
Familiarity with industry standards such as Uptime Institute, NFPA, and IEEE.
Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Autodesk Forma, or similar platforms.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
Ability to lead multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, remote working environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
Equivalent military or industry experience will also be considered.
Minimum of 8 years of project management experience.
At least 4 years of experience managing Project Managers or large delivery teams.
MEP project management experience required.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $190,000 USD per year.
Actual compensation may vary based on experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location.
