An established environmental and water resources consulting firm is seeking a Senior Restoration Engineer to join its growing team supporting river, stream, watershed, and dam-related projects across the Western United States.
This is an opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and geologists on projects that balance infrastructure, environmental stewardship, and long-term ecosystem resilience. What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and manage restoration engineering projects from planning through design and implementation.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, geologists, scientists, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Support river restoration, watershed enhancement, dam-related, and water resources projects.
- Develop technical deliverables, engineering analyses, and design documentation.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in restoration engineering, river engineering, water resources, dam-related projects, or closely related disciplines.
- Experience leading projects and working directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong technical background in restoration, watershed, fluvial, hydraulic, or related engineering work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and contribute to business and client development efforts.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
