Role Overview
They are hiring a Sales Restoration Project Manager to own projects from first conversation through closeout. This is a client-facing role for someone who can both develop work (sales, relationship building, consultative scoping) and lead execution (preconstruction planning, budget, schedule, quality, and closeout).
The successful hire will be trusted as a technical partner to customers-helping them understand building conditions, define the right scope, move efficiently from assessment to proposal to award, and then keep delivery tight once work is won.
Responsibilities
Business Development / Sales
- Build and grow relationships with property managers, facility leaders, owners, engineers, and partners
- Identify opportunities, lead walkthroughs, diagnose issues, and develop practical restoration plans
- Create budgets and proposals grounded in constructability and risk management
- Maintain a consistent pipeline and close work through value-led, consultative selling
Preconstruction & Project Management
- Lead preconstruction planning: scope validation, scheduling, phasing, and coordination
- Manage job cost performance, change management, and margin protection
- Coordinate internal field teams and external subcontractors to deliver on schedule and quality
- Provide clear communication to clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Maintain strong safety standards and documentation across all work (they emphasize safety as a core value)
Operational Excellence
- Ensure strong documentation, reporting, and closeout (warranties, punch lists, client satisfaction)
- Proactively troubleshoot field conditions and drive solutions quickly
- Contribute to continuous improvement in estimating accuracy, processes, and client experience
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in commercial restoration / building envelope work (façade restoration, concrete repair, masonry restoration, waterproofing, parking structures)
- Proven ability to sell and manage projects (estimating plus delivery ownership)
- Working knowledge of scopes such as waterproofing, sealants, masonry restoration, concrete repair, and coatings
- Confident communicator who can present to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally as needed
Preferred (not required): OSHA 30, PMP, ICRI exposure, or manufacturer training for waterproofing/coatings systems
