Senior Project Architect / Senior Architect

A nationally recognized, employee-owned AEC firm is seeking a Senior Project Architect to join its growing team supporting complex aerospace, industrial, manufacturing, aviation, and government-related projects throughout Southern California.

This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging facilities alongside integrated architecture, engineering, and construction teams while playing a key role in project leadership, client engagement, and technical delivery. The firm offers a highly collaborative environment, strong long-term career growth, and exposure to large-scale projects from concept through construction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects through all phases of design and construction.
  • Oversee production, coordination, QA/QC, and technical documentation.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
  • Interface directly with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and construction administration.
  • Participate in business development and proposal efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
  • Architectural License required.
  • 8+ years of professional architectural experience.
  • Strong experience leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in Revit/BIM and construction documentation.
  • Experience with complex project types such as aerospace, industrial, manufacturing, aviation, science & technology, mission critical, federal, or similar technical facilities.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
