Position Overview
This is a leadership opportunity for a senior geotechnical engineer who wants to play a larger role in client development, project execution, team growth, and business strategy.
You will lead complex geotechnical projects while serving as a trusted advisor to clients, mentoring engineers, and contributing directly to the continued growth of an established geotechnical practice. Key Responsibilities
- Lead geotechnical projects from proposal through delivery.
- Serve as a primary client contact and trusted technical advisor.
- Oversee geotechnical investigations, engineering analyses, and technical recommendations.
- Direct foundation, earth retention, excavation support, and ground improvement evaluations.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, and financial performance.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and project teams.
- Support business development and expansion of existing client relationships.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex projects.
- Maintain technical excellence and quality across project deliverables.
Qualifications
- PE license required.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred.
- 10+ years of geotechnical consulting experience.
- Track record managing complex geotechnical projects and client relationships.
- Experience leading project teams and mentoring junior staff.
- Strong business development, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high technical standards.
