An established and rapidly growing electrical contractor is seeking a Service Director to lead and expand its service division across the Dallas-Fort Worth market. This is a high-visibility leadership role for someone who combines operational expertise, business development skills, and a passion for building high-performing teams.
You'll have the opportunity to influence strategy, drive revenue growth, strengthen customer relationships, and develop a best-in-class service organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the electrical service division, including operations, sales, profitability, and team development
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans for the service business
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Oversee service managers, supervisors, technicians, and support personnel
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators, budgets, and financial goals
- Drive service revenue growth through maintenance agreements, repairs, renovations, and small projects
- Ensure exceptional customer service and client retention across all accounts
- Create a culture centered around safety, accountability, and operational excellence
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify new market opportunities
- Recruit, mentor, and develop future leaders within the business
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading electrical service operations
- Previous experience as a Service Director, Service Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role
- Strong background within the electrical contracting industry
- Demonstrated success growing service revenue and customer accounts
- Experience managing P&L responsibility, budgets, and operational performance
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities
- Excellent client-facing communication and relationship management skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on long-term growth
