St Louis | Lead Bridge Engineer
We are partnering with a well-established engineering firm seeking a Lead Bridge Engineer to support a strong backlog of transportation and bridge projects in the St. Louis market.
What You'd Be Doing
- Lead the analysis, design, and rehabilitation of bridge and transportation structures, including highway and railroad overpasses, culverts, and pedestrian bridges
- Deliver projects from concept through final design, plans, and construction support
- Prepare and review calculations, specifications, reports, and plan sets
- Own project scope, schedules, and budgets while ensuring technical quality and client expectations are met
- Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure accuracy, safety, and constructability
- Establish and refine structural design standards and best practices
- Mentor and support junior engineers and CAD staff
- Support proposals, client relationships, and ongoing project pursuits
What They're Looking For
- PE license (required)
- ~8+ years of bridge or structural engineering experience
- Experience delivering bridge projects from concept through final design
- Familiarity with tools such as OpenBridge, STAAD, MIDAS, MDX, or similar
