Structural Engineer/ Project Manager
A nationally respected consulting firm is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer or Project Manager to join its growing team in Madison Wisconsin. This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives on solving complex structural challenges and guiding project teams through successful delivery.
You will lead design efforts for a wide range of building projects including healthcare education multi-family hospitality and commercial developments. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior staff managing client relationships and contributing to business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural design and analysis for new construction and renovation projects
- Manage project teams budgets schedules and client communications
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Participate in proposal development client presentations and strategic planning
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of eight years of experience in structural building design
- PE license in Wisconsin or ability to obtain
- Strong leadership communication and client management skills
- Experience in business development is preferred
- Master's degree and licensure in additional Midwest states are a plus
