Role Responsibilities
As the Technical Division Lead, you will be responsible for:
Overseeing and managing all technical operations related to facade and parking structure inspections, ensuring full compliance with NYC Department of Buildings regulations.
Leading a team of engineers and inspectors, providing mentorship, technical training, and guidance to uphold industry best practices.
Developing and refining methodologies for structural inspections, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting to enhance operational efficiency.
Collaborating with architects, engineers, property owners, and regulatory officials to ensure compliance with local building codes and safety laws.
Providing expert recommendations on facade restoration, maintenance strategies, and structural repairs to mitigate safety concerns.
Preparing and reviewing detailed technical reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations, and clarity for stakeholders.
Staying updated on evolving NYC building laws, facade inspection requirements, and industry trends to maintain expertise and adapt best practices.
Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
QEWI and QPSI Certification
Professional Engineer (PE) in New York State.
Deep understanding of NYC building codes, facade safety regulations, and structural assessment methodologies.
Proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to mentor and guide inspection teams effectively.
Strong analytical skills for identifying structural risks and recommending viable solutions.
Excellent communication and client relationship management skills, ensuring clear collaboration with stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and property owners.
Ability to work independently and proactively, driving initiatives to enhance inspection processes and compliance measures.
