Water/Wastewater Engineer
My client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Mid-Level Environmental Engineer with a specialization in water and wastewater systems to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
- Independently develop engineering designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, remediation sites, and solid waste facilities.
- Review draft designs and reports to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies.
- Conduct site reviews and studies to align designs with location-specific requirements.
- Perform water quality analyses and modeling.
- Contribute to technical knowledge management through white papers and documentation of unique or complex designs.
- Collaborate with sales teams to prepare proposals in response to client RFPs, ensuring regulatory and best practice compliance.
- Engage with clients to understand current and future design needs; attend industry events to enhance visibility of services.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff; may supervise junior engineers on project work.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (or related discipline).
- Certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam (within 18 months of hire).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel domestically or internationally (approx. 10% travel based on project needs).
- Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Skills & Abilities
- Expertise in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD), including 3D and 4D software.
- Strong knowledge of engineering design principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
