We are representing a Data Center developer looking to appoint a Sales Account Manager / Director to drive growth across the Australian market.
This is a highly strategic commercial role focused on building and converting relationships across hyperscale, cloud, and enterprise customers. The successful candidate will bring a strong network in the Australian digital infrastructure market and a proven ability to originate opportunities, open doors, and secure new business.
The business is looking for someone commercially mature, well-connected, and capable of representing a high-growth data center platform to senior stakeholders across technology, enterprise, cloud, and infrastructure clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies targeting hyperscale, cloud, enterprise, and strategic customers across Australia.
- Build, manage, and convert a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Leverage existing market relationships to identify customer requirements and secure commercial opportunities.
- Manage senior client relationships across enterprise, technology, cloud, and infrastructure sectors.
- Work closely with internal leadership, technical, development, and commercial teams to shape customer solutions.
- Represent the business externally and act as a senior commercial voice in the Australian market.
- Provide market intelligence around customer demand, competitor activity, pricing, and sector trends.
- Own strategic account planning, pursuit strategy, contract progression, and long-term client development.
Key Requirements
- Proven sales, business development, or strategic account management experience within Data Centers, colocation, cloud infrastructure, digital infrastructure, telecoms, connectivity, managed services, or enterprise technology.
- Strong existing network across hyperscale and/or enterprise customers in Australia.
- Demonstrated ability to bring in new business and convert senior relationships into revenue.
- Experience managing complex, high-value enterprise or infrastructure sales cycles.
- Comfortable engaging with C-suite, senior technology leaders, procurement teams, and infrastructure decision-makers.
- Strong understanding of the Australian data center, cloud, and enterprise infrastructure landscape.
- Commercially driven, self-sufficient, relationship-led, and able to operate in a growth environment.
