Building Sciences Project Manager (CAC Preferred)
Our client is a well-established environmental consulting firm seeking a Building Sciences Project Manager to lead and coordinate a variety of projects across California. This is a unique opportunity to join a mission-driven team that values integrity, precision, and proactive leadership.
What You'll Do:
- Manage and oversee environmental construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Conduct site assessments, review blueprints, and prepare detailed project documentation and reports.
- Ensure timely project delivery within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Utilize your knowledge of asbestos and lead regulations to guide project decisions and maintain compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline project workflows and improve operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on project management experience in construction or environmental services.
- Certifications: California Asbestos Consultant (CAC) OR CDPH Lead Inspector/Assessor - Required
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents, Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Personal Attributes: Highly organized with excellent time management skills, Self-starter with a proactive, responsive, and solution-oriented mindset, Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Travel: Limited overnight travel required for site visits and project oversight.
