Geologist Project Manager
A west coast based, employee-owned firm is seeking an experienced and driven Geologist Project Manager to lead well-site geology projects in the Sacramento region. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative team working on impactful environmental and geotechnical projects across California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage well-site geology projects from planning through execution.
- Oversee field operations, including drilling, sampling, and logging.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and budgets.
- Mentor junior geologists and contribute to team development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related field.
- California PG license (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- 5+ years of experience in environmental geology, with a strong focus on well-site operations.
- Proven project management skills and client-facing experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $85,000 - $115,000
