HVAC Service Technician
A growing mechanical services contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join its service team.
This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and working on a variety of commercial HVAC systems. The company is looking for professionals who take pride in their work, maintain a high level of professionalism, and can be trusted to represent the business in front of customers.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and service calls.
- Work on rooftop units, air handlers, split systems, VRF systems, boilers, and chillers.
- Complete equipment start-ups, repairs, and replacements.
- Build material lists and identify parts required for repairs.
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate service documentation.
- Participate in the on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience working on commercial HVAC equipment.
- VRF experience highly preferred.
- Chiller and boiler experience strongly desired.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
- EPA Certification.
- Clean driving record.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
