Responsibilities:
- Design and evaluate overhead transmission and distribution power lines to meet project requirements efficiently and cost-effectively
- Utilize PLS CADD software for modeling and design, ranging from new builds to updates of existing systems
- Review engineering plans, specifications, and equipment for utility-related projects
- Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, calculations, and sketches
- Contribute to the development and refinement of internal and client standards for future project planning and design
- Use Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook for project documentation and communication
- Collaborate effectively with team members across various levels
- Perform project management tasks related to assigned work
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred
