Project Engineer - Heavy Civil Construction
Location: Portland, Oregon
Salary: $85,000- $115,000 + Bonus(s)
We are working closely with a well-established heavy civil contractor in Portland that's looking to bring a Project Engineer onto their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of impactful infrastructure projects across the region.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting project managers and field teams on large-scale civil projects
- Managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Assisting with scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking
- Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld
- Keeping project documentation organized and up to date
What You Bring
- 2-5 years of experience in heavy civil construction (earthwork, utilities, bridges, etc.)
- Strong understanding of construction documents and processes
- Experience with tools like Procore, Bluebeam, or Primavera P6
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license
