We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee a variety of renovation, facility improvement, and construction projects within a high-profile institutional environment in the greater Washington, DC area.

This position is ideal for a construction professional who enjoys managing multiple projects simultaneously, working directly with clients, and coordinating renovations in occupied facilities. Projects may include office renovations, restroom upgrades, interior reconfigurations, demolition, and general building improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects from planning through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Administer contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Manage subcontractor performance, safety, and quality expectations.
  • Identify project risks and proactively implement solutions.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience within the construction industry.
  • Experience managing renovation, tenant improvement, facilities, or commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working in occupied facilities or active operational environments is highly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $100,000 - $120,000
