About the Opportunity
A well-established surveying and geomatics firm is seeking a Florida Professional Surveyor & Mapper (PSM) to join its leadership team. The firm has over three decades of experience supporting transportation, environmental, infrastructure, utility, and government-related projects throughout Florida.
With a strong backlog of work and continued growth, this individual will play a critical role in overseeing project delivery, supporting business development efforts, mentoring staff, and helping drive future expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage survey projects from proposal through final delivery
- Review and certify survey deliverables as the Surveyor of Record
- Coordinate field crews, CAD technicians, and project resources
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, quality control, and client communication
- Lead transportation, topographic, boundary, ALTA, utility, and control survey projects
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff
- Assist with client relationship management and business development efforts
- Support strategic growth initiatives and office operations
Desired Qualifications
- Active Florida Professional Surveyor & Mapper (PSM) license
- Strong understanding of survey project delivery and land surveying principles
- Proven project management experience within a survey environment
- Experience managing both field and office production teams
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
