About the Opportunity
An industry-leading engineering and consulting firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead municipal water and wastewater projects across Southern California. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Project Manager, you will:
- Lead complex municipal water/wastewater projects from planning through execution.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules, ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal standards.
- Manage project financials, including billing, budgeting, and profitability tracking.
- Oversee technical execution, ensuring quality deliverables and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including internal staff and external vendors/subcontractors.
- Foster strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for future work.
- Collaborate with business development teams to support proposals and strategic growth initiatives.
- Participate in professional societies and represent the firm in industry events.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (advanced degrees a plus).
- 10+ years of relevant experience in municipal water/wastewater projects.
- PMP (PMI), CCM, or DBIA certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
Compensation
Salary Range:
- Minimum: $140,000
- Maximum: $230,000
Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
