Stormwater Engineer - Savannah

We are partnering with a respected engineering consulting firm seeking a Stormwater Project Manager to join their growing Savannah office. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of municipal, transportation, drainage, resiliency, and stormwater infrastructure projects while working closely with local clients throughout the region.
This position is ideal for a motivated engineer who enjoys combining technical expertise, project leadership, and client engagement to deliver impactful infrastructure solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage stormwater and water resources projects from planning and design through construction support
- Lead hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analyses for drainage, flooding, and watershed studies
- Oversee the preparation of engineering plans, reports, calculations, specifications, and permit applications
- Coordinate with municipalities, DOT agencies, developers, and regulatory authorities
- Develop stormwater management solutions for public and private infrastructure projects
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff
- Support business development efforts, proposal preparation, and client growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 7+ years of stormwater, drainage, water resources, or civil infrastructure experience
- Proven experience managing projects and client relationships
- Strong knowledge of stormwater regulations, permitting, and design standards
- Experience with:
- HEC-RAS
- HEC-HMS
- Civil 3D
- ArcGIS
- HydroCAD, StormCAD, or PondPack
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with municipal, transportation, site development, or coastal resiliency projects preferred
