Position Overview:
They are currently seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on heavy civil and highway construction projects. This role is essential to ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise field crews and subcontractors on-site
- Coordinate daily operations and ensure adherence to project plans
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders
- Monitor schedules and adjust resources as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in heavy civil or highway construction
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and scheduling
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project documents
- OSHA certification preferred
