Role Summary
Our client is seeking a Civil Team Leader to plan, design, and deliver a wide range of civil engineering projects, including streets and roadways, residential and commercial developments, municipal and institutional facilities, industrial sites, drainage systems, airports, and channel improvements. This position combines technical leadership with team management and client coordination.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse reports, maps, drawings, tests, and aerial photographs to support project planning and design
* Evaluate soil composition, terrain, hydrology, and other topographic data
* Prepare feasibility evaluations, cost analyses, and detailed cost estimates
* Create and amend design documents using engineering and design software
* Produce reports, specifications, plans, schedules, environmental documentation, easements, and legal materials
* Meet regularly with clients to provide updates, answer questions, manage changes, and resolve issues
* Secure necessary permits and approvals in coordination with government authorities
* Coordinate project activity with internal staff, subcontractors, laboratories, and other partners
* Track project progress and prepare required reporting
* Research regulations, materials, and design methods to support client needs
* Stay current with new codes, standards, materials, and engineering technology
* Follow the organisation's project management framework and ensure project teams do the same
Leadership Responsibilities
This role may include supervising and guiding engineers and technicians working on assigned projects. The Civil Team Leader will help develop staff, review work quality, and support team collaboration.

Requirements
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution, with at least four years of relevant experience or training.
Licensing
Professional Engineer or Engineer Intern certification is required. Candidates must hold, or be eligible to obtain, a Professional Engineer licence in Oklahoma.
