Water/Wastewater Structural Engineer
A well-established, employee-focused engineering consulting firm is seeking a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to join its growing structural team supporting water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of critical public infrastructure projects, including treatment facilities, pump stations, reservoirs, and other water-related structures. The position is ideal for a structural engineer who enjoys both technical design and client-facing responsibilities while collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead structural design and analysis for water and wastewater facilities.
- Develop construction drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and process engineering teams.
- Perform structural assessments, rehabilitation designs, and condition evaluations.
- Manage project deliverables, schedules, and client communication.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 5+ years of structural engineering experience.
- Experience designing concrete, steel, masonry, and foundation systems.
- Background in water, wastewater, municipal, or industrial facility projects preferred.
- Strong communication and project coordination skills.
