Position Overview
A leading provider of advanced water treatment technologies is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Regional Sales Manager to drive growth in the industrial market segment across North America, with a primary focus on the United States. This role centers on direct sales of UV water treatment systems and requires deep industry expertise, strong channel partner management, and strategic market development skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead direct sales efforts for UV water and wastewater treatment systems to industrial clients throughout North America.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market presence in the U.S. industrial sector.
- Manage and support a network of manufacturer representatives and OEMs, ensuring alignment with company goals and technical proficiency.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and applications within the industrial water treatment space.
- Oversee the full sales cycle, including lead generation, technical presentations, proposal development, and contract closure.
- Collaborate with internal technical, marketing, and engineering teams to tailor solutions to customer needs.
- Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and tenders, including proposal creation and presentations to engineering firms and decision-makers.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive activity in the UV water treatment market.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of successful sales experience in UV disinfection systems for industrial water and wastewater applications in North America, with a strong emphasis on the U.S. market.
- Proven track record in managing reps and channel partners.
- Strong technical knowledge of UV disinfection systems, applications, and U.S. regulatory standards.
- Established network within industrial customer base and engineering/consulting communities.
- Deep understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes and applicable standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently to meet sales targets.
- Willingness to travel across North America as required.
